Now, we most definitely will do some beautifully posed photos, but I also want to 'kapture' your families personalities.
So, I want you to have fun! Let loose, be silly sometimes and just enjoy creating beautiful memories together!
What To Wear
This is one of the most frequently asked questions I hear, "What should we wear?"
Instead of matching outfits, I suggest choosing a palette of roughly 4 coordinating colors that are represented across all of the family's outfits. Pinterest is a great spot to check out for some inspiration!

Your photos should look timeless and classic, so start with one or two neutral shades (white, cream, gray, beige), and then add some nice pops of color. Take Into Consideration:

The session location - we don't want you to blend into the background

The season - deeper hues work great for autumn/winter, lighter colors work best for spring/summer

Your décor - your wall art should fit the room where you plan to have it displayed.

Start your planning process with an outfit that Mom feels amazing in, and from this you can build the outfits for the rest of the family around that. Most importantly, is to choose outfits that are comfortable and will allow you the freedom to move and play around.
All The Little Details

Shoes: Instead of runners or hells, choose sandals, boots or sneakers that are both practical and match the setting.

Layers and Textures: Jackets, cardigans and vests help provide depth, while textures such as knits, lace, denim, and cords add interest to an outfit.

Accessories: You can complete your look by adding hats, headbands, jewelry, scarves, belts, etc.

Hair and Makeup: Haircuts at least a week before, and keep makeup natural.

Hands and Nails: Your hands may be visible in some of your images, so please be sure everyone has clean and trimmed nails and a fresh coat of nail polish.
